Jennifer Johnson is the Vice President of Lauer Johnson Research. Jennifer has over 15 years of experience in the research field. She began at the firm as a research assistant in 1993, was appointed Vice President in 2001 and joined Jim Lauer as a partner in the firm in 2006. Jennifer has conducted studies for a wide range of political, non-profit, business and trade association clients, including the North Carolina House and Senate Democratic Caucuses, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the Communications Workers of America. In addition, she has lectured on political polling and survey research at American University's Campaign Management Institute.

Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer worked on a number of political campaigns in Pennsylvania and Virginia, including those of former U.S. Representative Doug Walgren (PA-18) and 1992 U.S. Senate candidate Lynn Yeakel (PA). She has also served on the steering committees for candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 8th Congressional District and the Maryland House of Delegates.

Jennifer earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she and her husband, Matt, are residents of Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana.
